The party marked the official launch of ten dresses each by former Fashion East designers including Jonathan Saunders, Marios Schwab, Roksanda Ilincic, Richard Nicoll, House of Holland and Louise Gray. Potent tropical cocktails flowed as the Brit pack designers helped Lulu celebrate this momentous milestone.
Transforming the top floor of the department store with extravagant Hawaiian themed decorations, the party came complete with Bistrotheque restaurant’s corrugated beach hut ‘Bistrotaco’ serving the hungry fashion crowd tacos and burritos while Henry Holland and Princess Julia hit the decks.
The limited edition dresses were showcased on each of the designer’s chosen muses- Pixie Geldof in House of Holland’s printed jumper dress, Josephine de la Baume in an elegantly structured Richard Nicoll number and Jade Parfitt in a stand-out Holly Fulton maxi while ‘Fashion’s Fairy Godmother Lulu’ opted for a colourful, flowing Jonathan Saunders gown. Gareth Pugh and Louise Gray were sadly absent but models Poppy Delevigne and Edie Campbell made sure their dresses didn’t go unnoticed.
With the collection in high demand and sold exclusively at Harvey Nichols’ London store, we’re already looking forward to what next season will offer.
